Connection Cafe in Bradenton

The food was excellent. A great place for a quick lunch. Priscilla, our waitress was very friendly and attentive. The owner was also friendly. It has new owners. I enjoyed the cafe panini Good prices.

My husband and stopped in for breakfast, and we're sure glad we did! The food was great, reminded me of the diners up North, the coffee was so delicious, the portions were more than generous,. The most impressive thing is the owner Shelley's dedication to making sure we had plenty of delicious coffee and that we were satisfied with our meal. We are in Bradenton one more day and will back before we return home!!

I stopped in for breakfast and really enjoyed my meal. My omelette was generous in size, cooked perfectly and tasted so good. I especially enjoyed my chat with one of the owners, Shelly. She was so nice. Her and her husband own and operate this restaurant. I wish them much success. I'd encourage anyone to give this cafe a try. They have a nice looking lunch menu too. I'll definitely go back.

Friendly place good food and they make you feel like family

Stopped by The Connection Cafe while walking around the Bradenton Farmers Market to have breakfast. Pleasantly surprised to find a small eatery with delicious food. Greek omelet was great; the Romeo and Juliet crepe was perfectly prepared and had layers of flavor. Menu has plenty of food choices for breakfast. Take-out is also offered. Seating is somewhat limited but food is worth it if they get busy. Staff is attentive and focused on good friendly service.

The connection café is a hidden gem in downtown Bradenton. Great menu and the food is delicious and reasonable!

Not on the main drag so you have to turn the corner to find it. Small Cafe outdoor and indoor seating but the food is wonderful. New restaurant open by a young man who spent his life savings to live his dream. Go there for breakfast or lunch!

This was the first time I visited this cafe and I have to say I was impressed. The staff was extremely polite and the owner takes a real interest in making sure you have a great experience. I'm looking forward to the breakfast next visit!

Small downtowncafe has extremely good food and the owners are very nice and take great pride to ensure you enjoy your meal have a breakfast lunch menu and their portions are fantastic ate there twice in week and the owner and his wife who is an exceptional waitress/ hostess remembered our names all 5 of us if your downtown bradenton it is off main street and 12th

One of those "hidden gems" we're always looking for. Had the Cuban sandwich. Just right combination of pork,ham and cheese(with the obligatory pickles) on authentic cuban bread. It's all about the bread people! Served with rice and beans or their home made potato salad. Awesome lunch and a great breakfast menu too.

Priscilla was delightful! Interesting and varied menu.I ordered the gyros sandwich/wrap, and it was delicious.This was my first visit, and I can see why it was primarily populated by regulars. the connection café is about 60 steps off of Main Street, and well worth the five second walk, and then some.The combination of great people and great food make this a place that I will look forward to returning to.Please tell Priscilla that I said hello...7/2019- Update:Today I met the new owners (Shelly and Lee ), Who purchased the business earlier this year. I am pleased to report that the Connection Cafe has only gotten better under their direction!Everything was delicious. I ordered the turkey club sandwich, black beans and rice, and potato salad. While everything was great, the potato salad was a real standout. It is homemade and fresh, including freshly cut vegetables. Still recommended!

Met the owners. They were so nice and warm, it felt like I was transported to a in a small town cafe. The hustle and bustle of the city fades away, and you find yourself totally relaxed in this charming little hole in the wall.A modest menu selection, it's just what the doctor ordered when you just want to sit and not make any complicated decisions.

Best breakfast in town, and Shelley is so sweet. Dining here is a joy.

Food was great. I had the Hawaiian specialty omelet, that was better than I expected. Good conversation as well.

The Gardinere Crepe, Gyro, Hashbrown Cassarole and Ed's Signature Grilled Cheese are all AMAZING. Also can't wait until the Clam Chowder is back!

Lee and Shelley Anderson have created a local gem! I love the atmosphere and the extensive menu. It's cozy, friendly and the food is delicious. My favorite is the spinach, feta, mushroom, tomato and egg crepe. Parking was super easy too which was a big plus for me.

Great service as always! Owner Daniel always comes out to speak with customers. Priscilla did great job of serving as always.

Cute little place with the most amazing cappuccino in town. The staff and the owner are very kind and they know how to take care of their customers! So it’s a happy morning at this place!!

One of the few places that serves fresh fruit

It was a bit below average, they forgot part of the meal (bacon) and when it was delivered it was poorly cooked, and not even an acknowledgement they goofed up.. Strange, this was on two orders. Although the servers were pleasant.

Priscilla will treat you like the QUEEN of the DESERT!!! Delicious crepes!

Went here for the first time today for breakfast and we will be back! Lee and Shelly are wonderful people, so warm and friendly. They made my husband and I feel like family. The food and service was great as well. This is our new go-to little hidden gem!

A great little place for a meal or snack in downtown Bradenton! The food was delicious but the staff may have outshined them with their friendliness! Highly recommend a visit if you find yourself in the area!

Went here for breakfast before going to the South Florida Museum a couple of blocks away. Although quite small, the food was fresh, tasty, and well-prepared. I had a tasty Spanish omelet with chorizo that was quite spicy. The peppers were nicely crispy, not soggy, and the side of blueberries & strawberries was excellent. Our service was very good too.I would go back in a heartbeat.

Most delicious breakfast in Bradenton. Very generous with portions. I got the spanish omelette. Tons of chorizo, great flavor. I also got an apple turnover and coffee, and both were very tasty. All for less than the cost of an entree at most places. The restaurant was clean and relaxed. I’m really impressed with these guys and hope the new owners do well.

A little cafe tucked away off of the main drag. Very charming and the food is good. The crepes are worth the trip alone.

Great food!

I stopped here for lunch on my way to Tampa to catch a flight and it was fantastic! Full menu with lots of options. Paella and periougies (both great) were on the specials board as well as a few other items. Super friendly waitress that was familiar with the area and gave us some good recommendations for things to do. If I lived or worked in the area I would come here all the time. Very reasonably priced too.

It was our first- but not the last time to come to this cafe...small, quaint and personal restaurant which serves a very diverse menu...I ordered the spinach, cheese, tomato, onion and feta crepe and my husband ordered the Spanish paella with chicken and shrimp. Although we rarely finish our meals and take home leftovers- we couldn't resist but to finish what was on our plates !! The owner/cook took time out of his busy day and we had the most delightful conversation. We highly recommend this local cafe for breakfast or lunch...enjoy

I shared a lunch with my Mom, Grandma, and sister here. Its a real relaxed, friendly, homey kind of a place. Between the four of us we got an off the menu gyro salad and an off the menu buffalo wrap, their chef salad, Cobb salad, and their popular hashbrown casserole, because I've heard its a favorite. I love to cook gourmet and flavor rich comfort food, so I'm a bit of a perfectionist. Even tho I've heard nothing but glowing reviews about the place, I was a bit skeptical. But it was all true! The bacon was cooked to perfection. All their meats and cheeses were quality. The flavor of the gyro and tziki sauce combined was exceptional. The Cobb salad was delicious. I actually wouldnt change anything about it. And the hashbrown casserole didnt disappoint either-crispy and browned with melted cheese and onion inside(you can have them make it different, but I liked it as it came. You can also order croissandwiches and bagel sandwiches off the menu!

Good,fresh food. So many things to try. I will be back!
